Biography

Sudha Chandran was inspired by several individuals following the tragic accident that led to the amputation of her leg.

• Dr. P. K. Sethi: He was the one who designed and fitted her with the prosthetic leg that allowed her to dance again. His innovative work in prosthetics was a significant source of inspiration.
• Her Parents: They provided unwavering support and encouragement. Their belief in her potential motivated her to overcome her physical challenges.
• Her Guru: Encouraged her to continue pursuing her passion for dance, helping her adapt her movements to her new circumstances.

Her own determination and resilience, combined with the support and innovations of those around her, allowed her to overcome adversity.

Rajdeep Das is an Indian environmental scientist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi.

His research focuses on sustainable development, climate change, and environmental policy. He also teaches courses in these areas.

Dr. Sadao Hoki was a Japanese surgeon and scientist featured in the story "The Enemy" by Pearl S. Buck.
